Concept Mastery
At SmartLab physics tuition classes, each chapter will be dissected into different bite-sized concepts for the students. After each concept is being taught in our A & O level physics tuition class, students will then have the opportunity to practice different types of questions that require them to apply the very concept to solve. This consists of various MCQs and structured questions.
Types of Questions
The types of questions are selectively chosen from O Level and school exams. Students will be able to practice on a wide range of questions to hone their thinking skills in regards to solving Physics questions. For SmartLab Physics tuition Singapore students who are more talented towards physics, they will be introduced to Higher Order Thinking [HOT] questions to solve.
Paper 1
Students will be given more than 20+ years of past year O Level MCQ questions. For every year, MCQ questions are recycled and reuse in Physics paper 1. Additionally, stronger students will be given prelim style MCQ questions.
Paper 2
Students in our best physics tuition class will be given topical revision packages consisting of mainly structured quantitative and qualitative questions. Quantitative questions are questions that require them to calculate while qualitative questions are questions which require them to explain. Students will be taught on how to present their workings clearly for quantitative questions and in terms of qualitative questions, they will be taught to think like the examiner setting the questions and crave their answers in such a manner in order to obtain the full credits of the questions.
Data Analysis
Under Paper 2 Section B, students in our A & O level physics tuition singapore will be required to attempt a data analysis question in which they need to analyse graph and data given. In smartlab, tutors will breakdown the data analysis question and walk through with the students on how to filter and obtain relevant information to solve the questions. Students will be given data analysis revision package which consists of various school and O level data analysis questions.
Hands-on Practical
SmartLab’s best physics tuition Singapore, beside having our own physics lab, during normal class, students will be taught the practical skills such as S.F/D.P rules, sources of errors questions and plotting of best fit line. Teachers will also be teaching planning questions which constitute 6 marks of the entire practical paper.
